Imagining that Apes had Uniquely Human Characteristics Is Scientism

Present day humans possess “uniquely human characteristics” that were never possessed by any animals nor by ancient humans (prior to about 6000 years ago).

Examples of “uniquely human characteristics” are having a rational intellect, the ability for speech, language, and writing, the ability to understand good vs. evil, the ability to study science and create technology, and having a body designed to walk upright on two legs on a continual basis.

Human limbs and joints are not designed for humans to “knuckle walk” on all four limbs, as apes do.

On the Smithsonian Museum website it claims that the ancient creature known as “Lucy” (Australopithecus afarensis) had “a body that stood on two legs and regularly walked upright”. That site also claims that Lucy had “apelike face proportions”.

However evidence indicates that “Lucy” had wrist joints designed for knuckle walking as apes also have.

When I personally challenged a professional paleontologist in a major museum that Lucy was an ape, not a human, the paleontologist agreed to compare Lucy’s jaw with an ape jaw. The two jaws were indistinguishable from each other.

Imagining that ancient ape like creatures had human characteristics, such as walking upright, is “scientism”, not true science.

“Scientism” seems to have an agenda to devolve Man into a lower animal.

This interesting video demonstrates that “Lucy” had the morphology of a knuckle walker who walks on all four limbs, not the morphology of a bipedal human.

Present Humans Only Appeared Recently

The Bible is correct – humans in their present form only appeared on Earth very recently.

The Bible is NOT intended as a detailed scientific history of the ancient Universe, it is primarily concerned with the history of Mankind as we know it now.

The Bible is not interested in telling the history of any primates (Neanderthals, Cro-Magnon, etc.) that may have existed before humans in their present form were created.

Imagining that ancient ape like creatures or ancient primates had characteristics of present day humans, such as language, writing, and abstract thought, is “scientism”, IE not true science.

How can Neo-Darwinism explain the profound metaphysical differences between Man and the animal kingdom, such as Man’s rational intellect capable of abstract thought, Man’s ability for speech, Man’s recognition of good vs. evil?

Why would Darwinian “survival of the fittest” principles require a gorilla or chimpanzee to develop a rational intellect capable of abstract thought and develop the ability for speech?

A gorilla’s “survival of the fittest” in the jungle requires strong arms to pull bananas off a tree and fight off lions, a gorilla has no need for a rational intellect capable of abstract thought or the ability for speech.

Why would a gorilla require an intellect capable of creating an advanced civilization?

The Bible does not state the age of the Universe, but it does indicate that humans in their present form (IE “created in the image of God” as per the Book of Genesis) have only existed for about 5800 years.

Man being created “in the image of God” means having Man has the ability to speak, develop languages, write, create civilizations, create technology, have intellectual apprehension, and know good vs evil. None of these capabilities have ever existed in animals or primitive “humans”, and no amount of “Darwinism” can explain their appearance in present day humans.

If mankind in its present form has allegedly existed for hundreds of thousands of years, why has writing, civilization, and technology only existed for about 5400 years?

“Sumer” was an area near the Persian Gulf mentioned in Genesis 10:10 as the “Land of Shinar”. Most secular history books or websites will agree that the first examples of human writing occurred about 3400 B.C.

JIHADIST ISLAM IS MODERN DAY MOLECH WORSHIP

The Torah contains universal, eternal truths.

As Rashi, Ramban, and other great Biblical commentators explain, Molech worship involved the Molech worshipper sacrificing his/her child by passing the child between large blazing fire pyres.

However, Ramban cites the rabbis to state that “all forms of worshipping Molech were by fire” (as opposed to bowing down to an idol), and “they made the child pass through the flame many times, until he died in the burning fire”. Ramban also cites various places in Tanach (the Jewish Bible) that Molech worship is “an abomination of the heathens”.

This is significant because modern day apologists for Islam attempt to legitimize Islam by claiming that Muslims don’t bow down to idols.

However, the Torah’s vehement prohibitions against Molech worship prove that even if Muslims do not bow down to idols, the Islamic practice of sacrificing their children (especially by blowing them to pieces in a fiery explosion) resembles ancient Molech worship and is an abomination to God.

Long ago, the God of Israel made a solemn promise to Abraham, the patriarch of the ancient Hebrews:

This promise to Abraham has played itself out many times in history as those kingdoms and empires that treat the Jews with decency and respect are blessed by God, while those kingdoms and empires that persecute the Jews are thrown on the junk heap of dead empires. This process is also detailed in the Book of Daniel.

We have seen how great empires that oppressed the Jews hundreds and thousands of years ago, such as the Babylonian Empire, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, the Arab Empire, and the Ottoman Empire, and the British Empire have collapsed and disappeared from history.

It is true that some US citizens with Jewish last names, but with no real knowledge of or loyalty to Judaism or Israel, very foolishly vote for and support the anti-Semitic Democratic party. But most of the leaders of the Democrat parties have non-Jewish last names, and most Democrat politicians would be elected with or without the small Jewish voting bloc in most cities.

America and the West are now at a critical crossroads. As serious problems in America escalate including rampant inflation, crime, family destruction, illegal immigration etc., various demagogues and Jew-haters are attempting to use ALL the Jews as scapegoats for these problems. Darwinism: A Rehash of Ancient Epicurus

Darwinists would have us believe that evolution is a novel, modern, sophisticated scientific theory unknown to the ancients.

Maimonides was a great rabbinic Torah sage, and a “rationalist” within Medieval thought, but he was not a modern materialist attempting to explain the Universe by recognizing only material causes. Maimonides would have sharply rejected Darwinism.

In the 12th Century C.E., Maimonides dismissed the ancient version of Darwinism.

“But it would be quite useless to mention the opinions of those who do not recognize the existence of God, but believe that the existing state of things is the result of accidental combination and separation of the elements, and that the Universe has no Ruler or Governor. The violent, tremendously destructive Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement was created in 2013 during the Obama regime and supported by that regime. BLM seems to have based its corrupt ideology on an evil hybrid of Marxism and CRT, despite the fact that most American blacks live far better than blacks around the world, while receiving cradle to grave affirmative action benefits and race based privileges. Although its membership includes some Caucasians, BLM was founded by three black Marxist-Leninist women.

BLM exploits the racist ideology of “Identity Politics” to incite violence and rioting across the United States using phony pretexts that Blacks are victims of White racism. While being publicly funded by leftist American corporations and foundations, BLM has endorsed and embraced Islamic terrorists in Israel who are waging a genocidal war against Israeli Jews. Stripped of its fake anti-racism facades, BLM functions as a sort of military arm for Democrat “progressives”, Black power racists, and Islamic terrorists.

In May 2020, in Minneapolis, a drug addled career criminal by the name of George Floyd died while resisting arrest. A toxicology report showed that Floyd had a lethal level of the opioid Fentanyl in his system, which likely caused his death by stopping his breathing. Floyd’s death was exploited by BLM criminals to justify waves of violence, rioting, and destruction across America, especially in Democrat controlled major cities.

When we consider that Western civilization was created by ideas promoted by Caucasian men from Athens and Jerusalem, it seems apparent that the goal of BLM is destruction of Biblical values and the destruction of Western civilization, and their replacement with a violent, totalitarian, race-based Woke political regime.

Biblical Values Essential for World Peace

The acceptance of biblical values is essential for creation of world peace. Belief in false gods and false prophets causes devastating damage to humanity in a number of ways. False gods and false prophets completely destroy the acceptance of a Biblical morality system and completely destroy any unity among mankind.

Each false god is served by false prophets who make conflicting demands on mankind which only serve the interests of the false prophets, resulting in perpetual conflicts, warfare, and immorality among mankind.

The damage to Mankind by false gods occurs whether it is caused by an ancient false god such as Baal, or if it is caused by a more recent false god such as deified Communist dictators. Only the Torah of Israel has the necessary wisdom and truth to save mankind from its own self-destruction. The G-d of Israel is returning the Jews to the Land of Israel to fulfill their role as spiritual teachers of mankind, as the world’s false ideologies collapse before our eyes. We can pray and hope that new prophets will arise in the Land of Israel to lead mankind out of its present abyss.

For the West to survive without conquest by Islam, socialism, or communism, it must seek its purpose and meaning from embracing biblical values.

Instead of atheist scientism and “progressivism”, a return to monotheistic science based on Intelligent Design and metaphysics would serve the world’s scientific and spiritual needs much better.

Totalitarian movements and governments such as Nazism and Communism seek to enslave Man to their evil agendas and also to suppress religious observances in Man. In a totalitarian regime, Man only serves the purpose of the regime, and cannot serve any purposes for the Creator. Man must serve the Creator, and NOT serve any of the Creations. Traditional Judaism (excluding the liberal religion of the Reform movement) is the only spiritual force that can oppose and expose the falsehoods of both “progressivism” and Islam.

Growing numbers of citizens in the West seem to be attracted to Islam. This may be due in large part to Christianity’s abandonment of much of Biblical Law, and its obsessive focus on an alleged messiah man-god and on being “saved”. This has resulted in a failure to regulate and satisfy Man’s spiritual needs, and has left a spiritual vacuum for Islam to flourish.

Also, the failure of secular “democracy” to offer spiritual solace and a meaningful purpose to life has also left a spiritual vacuum that Islam can attempt to fill.

“Progressivism” with its false messiahs such as Obama, the various false Jewish “messiahs” throughout history, Islam with its false god Allah, Communism and Nazism with their false psychopaths Stalin and Hitler Y”S, have all failed miserably and left the world in shambles.

WALKING GOD’S PATH Book

Interpreting Genesis

There are many methods of interpreting Genesis, however the Bible was not given to Man as a science textbook.

Dennis Prager has published a set of brilliant Biblical commentaries he calls “The Rational Bible”. These books offer some excellent insights into the relationship between Torah and science. Dennis explains that:

“The notion that the Genesis Creation story must agree with science is itself untenable. . .we have no idea what science will say about cosmology in a hundred years. . .The purpose of Genesis Chapter 1 is not to teach science. It is to teach about God, man, and nature. . .”1

There are many authentic Torah sources that describe the Biblical creation event as “beriyah yesh miayin”, i.e. creation ex-nihilo, meaning creation from absolutely nothing. By definition, such a creation process is scientifically unintelligible to Man. Science is able to a limited extent to recognize a sequence of events in the Creation process, and also to comprehend the created Universe after the creation process was completed by God. But the mechanism of the creation process itself cannot be scientifically intelligible to Man.

The first few chapters of the Bible are intending to convey certain facts, such as the knowledge that God created the Universe, and that a sequence of events occurred, but the Bible is not attempting to explain the mechanism(s) God employed to achieve the Creation. In a number of places in the Talmud, the Talmud explains that “the Torah speaks the language of man.” This can be understood to mean that some Biblical language cannot be interpreted literally, or else some Biblical language is concealing secrets that are beyond the comprehension of Man. A Creation process is being described in Genesis, but we should not assume that Genesis is a science textbook. The purpose of the Bible is to convey God’s commandments, ethics, and wisdom to man, but the Bible is not intended to convey scientific knowledge to Man.

We also should consider that scientific theories have been constantly subjected to revision over time. It is simply unnecessary that we attempt to achieve a detailed correlation between current scientific theories of the origins of the Universe, and the events described in Genesis.

The fundamental events of the Creation are being described in non-scientific language in Genesis, but they do not conflict with the basic scientific evidence that has been discovered. The first animals created in Genesis were simple marine invertebrate in modern language, and afterwards there was a steady increase in complexity of the created animals until finally Man appeared. The fossil record also indicates such a progression occurred starting with the simplest creatures until finally Man arrived. Man represents the pinnacle of the Creation, and is the most complex of the beings created on Earth. What is important is that we recognize the special role granted to Man in the Creation.
